When i joined Masteel in 2016 as its manager for Eastern Canada i created a digital Masteel quote register for each new machine quote. At the same time i created a digital folder for each customer and Masteel office i worked with since. Each customer / Masteel office digital folder holds separate folders for quoted machine projects and reported service issues.
So for any fast computer-friendly digital machine quotes (to best-fit a computer screen's orientation) i go to my Masteel quote register and type in the machine model in the search space to find a relevant quote in the referenced customer folder(s). Then i copy this relevant quote, change the customer / Masteel office name + contact information and submit it within minutes (during my business hours) to the customer (in PDF format) or Masteel office (in Word format for easy changing/updating) requesting this quote.

The above quote presentation method and speed have become essential tools for me since the onset of the Covid pandemic in 2019 and remained so to protect our sustainability - as personal face-to-face visits for printed media presentations and discussions are no longer wished for by my clientèle (since these use too much time, energy, physical storage and global environment).

Ps. Before the digital age this was all done in the same way but with printed paper files / paper folders / steel filing cabinets in a brick office while using a lot of space / time / energy. Now it's all done using digital files / digital folders / digital filing cabinets in a digital office in the smallest fraction of the previous physical space / time / energy. Most of my competing businesses currently use a cloud-based CRM application for all their marketing / sales / service management + customer interactions.
